TRAIN THE TRAINER

Train the Trainer – 2 Day Bushcraft Training Course

£165 plus complimentary Hultafors bushcraft knife

This foundation course is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence to run some basic bushcraft sessions with your own group including firelighting, safe use of knives, wood craft, shelter building, foraging, open fire cooking and more…...

About the syllabus

The course syllabus roughly mirrors our Bushcraft Skills course but importantly there is an extra emphasis on exploring ways in which you would deliver basic bushcraft sessions yourself.  You’ll look at assessing risk and keeping a group safe along with delivering fun and engaging sessions.  You will also get the option to sleep in a shelter of your own construction.

Course topics include: safe use of knives and saws, firelighting, shelter building, cooking with fire, foraging, wood craft, nature watching and much more… The course includes lots of interactive sessions with our friendly and knowledgeable team.

There will be plenty of time for you to relax, practise and hone skills and proficiency in each of the topic areas, whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Who is it for?

This bushcraft course has proved very popular with outdoor instructors, teachers, youth leaders and many others who wish to pass on new bushcraft skills.  We have small group sizes so that participants get the maximum attention

Our courses our run from our beautiful venue at Nannerth Fawr set in 200 acres of stunning Welsh countryside on the banks of the River Wye near Rhayader. You’ll receive directions and further details on booking.

It may also be possible to arrange for courses to be run at your group’s own venue, subject to suitability. Please contact us if you would like your venue to be considered.
